Datathon
Several self-formed, multidisciplinary teams from Foster and UW work on your company’s business problem and data.
How Does it Work?
Identify your business problem, project goals, datasets, and a coordinating champion/team from your company.
Launch the project by hosting a webinar for the student teams, where you share information about your company, project objectives, and data.
Come to the Foster UW campus, receive valuable insights from multiple teams, critique the statistical models and business solutions that they have developed.
After the teams have presented their findings, work with FCAC leadership to choose the winning team(s) based on the core statistical model, novelty of insights, and business solutions.
Implement the teams’ recommendations and models in your company and evaluate the impact of collaborating with FCAC.
Visibility
Focused, high-visibility event over a one-week period, with a final summit day for presentations and picking winners
